Helper day
Lesson- Why mommy and daddy love it when you help. Ask if they can help you get their lesson ready. Have them help get their crayons, and papers. Tell them you want to help them color their paper. Ask what part they want help with.
Game- You help me, I'll help you. First they help you clean your room (just an example), then you help them clean theirs. This is meant to be fun for them so it doesn't have to be perfect.
You can talk about how they are such a good helper. When you are helping them if they are older ask what you can do to help. If they are younger tell them what you are doing to help.
Craft- Any craft will do just as long as there is helping during the process.
Activity- Help a friend or neighbor. If it is trash day help them bring in there trash.
Books- Just for you: little critters, this book is about a kid who tries to help his mommy but everything goes wrong, so cute.

Hippo day
Lesson- All about Hippos. Hippos live in Africa with what other animals? Hippos are big or small. What color are hippos?
Game- Find the hippo and his friends. Get stuffed animals, stickers pictures, or figurines (what ever you have or is easy to get) of african animals and pets. Place the animals around the house and say we have to find hippo and hippos friends. Explain once again what kind of friends a hippo has. Then go around collecting African animals. When you come to the pets leave them there or collect them in a different bag.

Handy man/women day
Lesson- What does a handy man do? Get all the safe tools you have or pictures of tools. Then ask or tell your child what that tool is and what it does. You can even show them what it does and let
them help.
Game- Pattern making. Get nuts, screws and washers. Take them and make a pattern (a nut, two screws, three washers) Let them finish the pattern.
Craft- Handy man craft
Activity- Go to homedepot. Have fun looking at the wood and tools. If you have something to do around the house let them help you with tools and everything.

Go out side and watch for helicopters.
