Welcome to a lesson page. Here is a weekly lesson with different things to do daily for your toddler.
These Lessons are designed to teach your toddler with play and fun. There are new things to learn daily and weekly. Lesson set up: Flash cards, food, coloring pages, subjects with: lesson, games, activity, crafts, and books. Look at all of the lessons the week before so you can work them in. There is minimal prep work.

RED
This week lets focus on the color red. Point it out any chance you get. Wear red, eat red, think red.
Fire Trucks
Lesson- Fire Truck coloring page.Talk about fire trucks. They are red and big. They drive fast when they have there sirens on. What do fire trucks do? Are there a lot of wheels on a fire truck? What do they sound like?
Game- Put out the fire. Use yellow and orange paper and make flames. Put the flames in a determined spot and pretend you are a fire fighter in a truck. Make siren noises and honk your loud horn. Pretend like you are turning a big wheel between your arms.
Activity- Visit your local fire station. Call a head first and maybe they can direct you the best to to take a glance at the fire truck. (I am sure they would love some yummy treats too. My son is a year and half and he loves helping me make cookies.) Fire truck cookie cutter.
Craft- egg cartoon fire truck.
Books- Maisy's Fire Engine, In my Neighbor Hood Fire Fighters, Tonka If I could Drive a Fire truck.

Game- Grab a bag or a basket and find all the red stuff around your house. When you are done take some time to look at all the stuff you found.

Lesson- Shape coloring page. All about red and shapes. Use Red paper and cut our shapes. Use these to show what each shape is.
Game- Shape patterns. Cut several shapes out and then make patterns ex circle, square, rectangle, circle square, rectangle, circle. Let them finish the pattern and make one of there own.
Activity- Go around the house and find different shapes. Put them in a red bag or basket. Some ideas for shapes: tupperware lids, pan lids, toys, books etc.
Craft- Circle caterpillar. You can use different shapes instead of all circles.
Books- A Circle Here, A Square There, Mouse Shapes, The Shapes of Me and Other Stuff.
